Position overview

As a Conversational User Experience Designer, you will be at the forefront of creating intuitive and engaging conversational interfaces for our clients as part of a fast-growing AI consultancy. This role involves blending technology and design to craft user-centric conversational experiences. You will Help to lead one or more CX implementation teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create end-to-end multimodal product experiences for large enterprise clients. Lead conversation design for multiple use cases in multiple industries.
  • Create and apply a cohesive and unified voice in driving and documenting guidelines, best practices, and strategy principles; use empathy, logic and data to inform content choices and recommendations
  • Partner with stakeholders (product, XD, implementation, model training, engineering, UAT, research, legal, marketing, leadership) in an Agile/scrum process.
  • Lead the overall design for conversational flows, working with technical team members to execute design.
  • Communicate content design, intents, and rationales, while advocating for user needs, to stakeholders by driving frequent feature demos and walkthroughs; influence and adapt to their feedback.
  • Gain user insights and iterating on designs with the help of research and usability tests in beta releases. Enhance the experiences, with an eye on user needs, behaviors & emotions, while balancing real-world business considerations and tech constraints.
  • Translate complex concepts into simple, intuitive experiences, and business success.

Desired Qualities and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or a related field of study.
  • 4+ years of experience in CX design and implementation with medium and/or large enterprises.
  • Excel at acquiring and applying new skills and industry knowledge quickly.
  • Excellent written American English skills, logic and attention to detail.
  • Prepared to work in a fast-paced environment and on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Up to date on current technologies and best practices.
  • Proficient with one or more of the commonly used, commercially available tools from Amazon, Google, etc.
