Position overview
As a Data Engineer at Synergise AI, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of data infrastructure and pipelines. Your work will enable our organization to leverage data-driven insights, support AI initiatives, and drive business growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
Our Data Engineer at Synergise AI will be responsible for:
- • Data Pipeline Development: Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines to enable efficient data processing and analysis.
- • Data Integration: Integrating data from various sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability.
- • Data Warehousing: Building and maintaining data warehouses for storage, retrieval, and optimization of data.
- • Data Transformation: Transforming and cleaning data to meet the needs of data scientists and analysts.
- • Performance Optimization: Ensuring data pipelines and processes are efficient, scalable, and meet performance requirements.
- • Data Security: Implementing data security measures and access controls to protect sensitive information.
- • Collaboration: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and support data-driven projects.
This role will involve hands-on work with data infrastructure, ETL processes, and data architecture.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent.
- • Proven experience in data engineering, ETL processes, and data architecture.
- • Proficiency in data pipeline and ETL tools and frameworks.
- • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
- • Experience with data storage solutions, including relational databases and data lakes.
- • Knowledge of data modeling, data quality, and data governance.
- • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- • Master's or Ph.D. in data engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases.
- • Knowledge of data streaming and real-time data processing.
